First launch, in a minute.
macOS
Open the .dmg and drag Aquilla into Applications. Choose the Apple Silicon build for any Mac from late 2020 onward; the Intel build is for older Macs. Not sure? Apple menu → About This Mac shows the chip.
Windows
Run the installer (.exe). If Windows SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info → Run anyway. The MSI package is for IT-managed deployments.
Linux
The AppImage runs anywhere (make it executable, then open it) and updates itself. The .deb and .rpm packages install system-wide but can't update themselves — to update one, download the new package and install it over the old one.
Updating later
You don't need to come back here. The app checks for updates and shows a prompt when one is ready. This page is the fallback for a fresh install, a .deb or .rpm install, or an app that can't update itself.
